Kuma Dojo Association Kyokushin-Ha Karate-Do International
Kuma Dojo Association Karate-Do International
Welcome to Kuma Dojo Association Karate-Do International {KDA}
We are an open association of Karateka from many different styles/disciplines, though our founder Kancho Farrell, as well all the board of directors are 100% Kyokushin. We welcome all Martial Artists to join our family to help teach the next generation of Karateka, as well learn from the past and present generations!
We are lead by Kancho John Farrell Judan O-Sensei, who has been involved within the Martial Arts for over 55 years. He holds Dans in Kyokushin, Judo, Aikido, Jujitsu, Isshin-Ryu, Shito Ryu, Koseido.
He is assisted by;
Mark Dana Rokudan Sensei, who's been involved in Kyokushin since 1974 as Co-Chairman
Hank "Skip" Drake Godan Sensei, who's been involved in Karate since1972 as 2nd Chair
Emanuel J. Oaks Jr. Godan Sensei
Kancho John Farrell is one of the very few true O-Sensei's still living and teaching in an open and sharing manner.
KDA is removed from all the political issues that face Independent Martial Artists and all the politics that Martial Arts in general face today.
KDA is open to everyone in Kyokushin, its offshoots, or any Independent Martial Arts Style Dojo who wishes to align themselves with a group of Martial Artists and to be able to learn from everyone in the family without issues or "$$$" costs often faced when one is looking for help and knowledge.
All who join KDA will have the opportunity to learn and possible also to teach. KDA offers its members summer camp, winter camp, and seminars in several disciplines of Martial Arts, as well kyu, dan testings and teacher certifications.
We always offer knowledge!
Our one time Lifetime membership is:
$50 per Dojo (covers head Instructors membership)
$25 per Instructor [yudansha]
$5 per Student [kyudansha]
We look forward hearing from you
